Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a good start to the week. Here are the cards and projects which I said I would post last week. Sorry it's taken a while. These items were made for my last class and first workshop for the new cataogue.
1. These are the Key tag Post it notes. The idea came from Angie's blog. I was quite excited when I saw these on her blog and hoped that we would get a crop-a-dile and the scallop punch. Thank goodness we did. The colours I have used are Purely Pomegranate, river rock and Chocolate Chip. The stamp set is Boho Backgrounds.

2. This was an insert card. The base is from Real red and stamped with the flower from Priceless. I also added Kindy glitz to the middle of the flowers. The insert is stamed on Whisper white with a black background. I also used the pricless stamp set for the butterfly and the swirl at the bottom of the card. The butterfly backing used the scallop punch.

3. This card uses the Priceless stamp set and the same colours as the card above. I actually used this design and then made the card above. I really liked it.
4. This card was made using the loads of love stamp set. I coloured it in using the chalks. I used the Blue Bayou card stock and double stitched ribbon to match. The base of the card was Confetti cream. (you cant see that very well, sorry!)
I have a few more to post for you all, but will have to do that at another time. Hope you liked them.
At the moment it is quite quiet as Jaydon is not home. A little too quiet if you aske me. HE went to Perth on Saturday with Danae to stay at mum's for a holiday. Danae came down on the train and we dropped Jaydon off at the train station and he went back up with Danae. It was so cute watching him leave. Talk about excited. We spoke to him yesterday for the first time. He had been to AQWA with Aunt Nae and had a great time. I saw the photo's that Danae took and he loks like he had fun! I will be joining him in Perth tomorrow with Kaitlyn and then staying the night. I am going to our Demo stamp night tomorrow night which will be great. Lots of new ideas. Yeah!!
Have a great rest of the week and speak soon.

School Holidays

Hi everyone. Long time no speak. I didn't realise how long it had been since I last posted. Just goes to show you how busy things have been in the last two weeks. Well, as the title says, I am now on school holidays and so need the break. It is such a nice feeling to not have to rush in the mornings as well. Lots has been planned for the holidays. Jaydon actually asked me if it was kindy day today. How hard is it to explain to a four year old that he can't go to school 'cos it's holidays. But why? Any way, he is really excited that he will be going for a play to one of his good pals he has met at kindy. "But when is he coming to my house?"

The last two weeks of school went so fast. Work to organise, little reports to send home, two morning tea's to make .... Won't bore you with the rest. And not to mention the beginning of the Stampin' Up catalogue year. Catalogues to send out and deliver. Orders to make, of my own of course. it's all happening.

Speaking of Stampin' Up, my order arrived last week. It was awesome. I was so excited. On Tuesday night, while watching Tele, I spent about 2 hours cutting out 8 new stamp sets. Not that I'm complaining, but it's so difficult when you get so many new stamp sets at the same time, you don't know which one to choose to make a card. AHHH! Speaking of not being able to choose, I have a stamp class tomorrow night and trying to work out which sets to use was so hard. But I got there! If you are interested, I hold the stamp classes on the the third Tuesday of each month. It is a casual night where I have the opportunity to teach new techniques/products and make new things using the SU gear.

Well, I can't leave this post without showing you a few photo's of the kids. Jaydon is learning heaps at kindy and coming out with new comments weekly that he has learnt from the kindy kids and Kaitlyn is growing in leaps and bounds. She has now added a few words to her vocab. Bubba, What's this (although not that clear), Nanna, Dadda, mumma. She is trying to copy and occasionally gets there. Her walking has turned into running and she is a climber, AKA, Dare devil.
This is the new play gym we bought for Kaitlyn and Jaydon. It's really for Kaitlyn, but Jaydon is still light enough to go on it.

Cheeky monkey. This is photo of Kaitlyn on her first birthday. Still more of those to come.Jaydon posing for Aunt Nae.Well, thereyou have it. Another round of photo's for this week. Hope you all had a good start to the week. Speak to you soon and hopefully, my cards for tomorrow night I will get to post farely soon.

happy stamping.
