a slow weekend.

Hello everyone. It's Sunday night and I have a few moments to tell you about the weekend and post a few photo's. We had a nice calm weekend at home. I decided on Friday night after a hectic week, that on the weekend I would clean out the stamping/spareroom. I was in one of those moods to clean and also so that I could stamp when it was done. When mum stayed on Tuesday the room was a mess. So this is what I did. Saturday morning I pulled everything out of the cupboard and rearranged everything and did the same thing with my shelves. I finished it today, late this afternoon. I hope this means that I will put things away properly, 'cos I think everything has a place now. ANd my stamp table is free of mess so maybe while Jaydon is at kindy tomorrow, I can make a few cards.

Over the weekend, Dave dug out the soil between the limestone and fence and put piping in. Jaydon was his big helper. While Dave dug out the sand, JAydon so kindly filled it back in. AHHH! Jaydon and Kaitlyn also spent alot of time in the sandpit and this weekend it was great. Dave put together a Gazebo to put over the sandpit so now the kids have some shade. Great!!

Kaitlyn has started to talk alot this last week. She walks around calling everyone "Nanna" and saying "What's this?". It' also cute hearing her saying mumma, dadda and Jaydon. And the cutest is "Oh oh."

It was really nice staying at home this weekend and not having any committments. Don't get me wrong, I love going out, but after the week that DAve and i had, it was so nice to do what we did.

This is Jaydon and Kaitlyn playing the piano together for the first time. They played a few tunes and then Jaydon "had a great idea". He went and got his guitar and said" Mummy, you can be the pianoer, daddy can be the singer and I will be the guitarer. SO there we were all playing our instruments while Nanna was the audience. It was quite funny and sounded delightful. mmmm

Kaitlyn loves her water melon and on this particular day I took her outside and put her in the wagon to eat her fruit. She had a ball.this time she tried to play the keyboard.This is Jaydon in the cupboard at the bottom of his bed. I went into his room looking for him and I couldn't find him.
